Scriptures For Those Who Suffer With Anxiety, Part 5

Psalm 27 (KJV)
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

3 Though an host (flock) should encamp (judge, mediate) against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

2 Chronicles 19 (KJV)

6 And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the Lord, who is with you in the judgment.

7 Wherefore now let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity (wickedness) with the Lord our God, nor respect (favoritism) of persons, nor taking of gifts.

9 And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of the Lord, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.

Hebrews 6 (KJV)
19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast (faithful), and which entereth into that within the veil (protection, private sanctuary);

Our lack of hope comes from anxiety and vice versa. ~ Karmen

1 John 4 (KJV)
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Anxiety will cause torment.  Use God's word and prayer to bring you calmness. ~ Karmen

Genesis 15 (KJV)
1 After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

Deuteronomy 31 (KJV)
6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

8 And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed (discouraged).

1 Chronicles 28 (KJV)
20 And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the Lord God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.
