Upgrade? Why?

Blue Ray DVD, why is it here? All broadcast going digital, why?

Just to upgrade? They want to be able to see in your homes. The ones without cable are being forced to accept digital which starts next year. Why? Again, please watch the movie Fahrenheit 451. They want to be able to control you. They will be able to do this once they get the microchip in you without you even knowing it. Please consider downsizing to regualr tv if you must have it and use it only for dvd's (regular not blue ray) and/ or vhs. Or consider ditching the tv.

The Kindle Reader , Border's E-Book, Sony's Reader, Nook

Why must we upgrade, everytime it's available? Are they trying to ease us off the regular books? They say it's to save trees. Which is good, right? Will they eventually rid us of regular books? Who can afford the $300+ electronic book? Why must we depend on technology for everything? Remember the movie "The Matrix"? Technolgy took over the human race because we got lazy and solely relyed on them to do our thinking. After revisiting the movie Fahrenheit 451, I just can't accept that is the real reason. Are they trying to dissuade us from reading the truth? If they do this with bibles as well (in which they will ban it) , hoiw much would you have to memorize before they try to distort the truth? Would you be able to not panic and would you be able to function normally without technology? Just a thought to pass along. Never trust what they say.

Books, Movies, Etc..., Giving Us Clues

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

Fahrenheit 451 is a dystopian soft science fiction novel authored by Ray Bradbury and first published in 1953. The novel presents a future American society in which the masses are hedonistic, and critical thought through reading is outlawed. The central character, Guy Montag, is employed as a "fireman" (which, in this future, means "book burner"). The number "451" refers to the temperature (in Fahrenheit) at which the books burn when the "Firemen" burn them "For the good of humanity". Written in the early years of the Cold War, the novel is a critique of what Bradbury saw as an increasingly dysfunctional American society. The concept began with Bradbury's short story "Bright Phoenix," written in 1947 but first published in the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction in 1963.

The original short story was reworked into the novella, The Fireman, and published in the February 1951 issue of Galaxy Science Fiction. The novel was also serialized in the March, April, and May 1954 issues of Playboy magazine.

Bradbury wrote the entire novel on pay typewriter in the basement of UCLA's Powell library. His original intention in writing Fahrenheit 451 was to show his great love for books and libraries. He has often referred to Montag as an allusion to himself. Over the years, the novel has been subject to various interpretations, primarily focusing on the historical role of book burning in suppressing dissenting ideas. Bradbury has stated that the novel is not about censorship; he states that Fahrenheit 451 is a story about how television destroys interest in reading literature, which leads to a perception of knowledge as being composed of "factoids", partial information devoid of context, e.g., Napoleon's birth date alone, without an indication of who he was.

A movie version of the novel was released in 1966, and it is anticipated that a second version will begin filming in 2008. At least two BBC Radio 4 dramatizations have also been aired, both of which follow the book very closely. Couldn't help but mention this book turned movie. It gives a vivid imagination of how we live as American's today and how it will be in the near future. Christians please memorize your scriptures, for soon it will be forbidden and be confiscated and/or burned.

Sinful Nature vs Holy Spirit

Romans 7 (KJV)
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal (lustful), sold under sin.
15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Am sure all can relate to this Romans 7:14-25 ~ Karmen

So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin. The law of your mind. Satan will deceive you by closing your mind off and when this happens unwise decisions will be made. Like choosing one bad apple over another one. Why do we do this? The sinful nature is mastering our mind. We must always be conscious of this. 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.

We have the sinful nature and Holy Spirit battling within us

This information I pulled from http://www.realtime.net/~wdoud/philemon/phlm02.html Reason for placing it on my notes was to show that even when you are trying to do right by God, Satan is right there tempting you to do wrong.

Please before you decide to do something like voting or making big changes in your life, consider the scriptures in Romans 7 about the sinful nature attacking your body, just when you are trying to allow the Holy Spirit to protect and guide you the right way.

Evil is a very strong word. If you are not making righteous decisions, good decisions, then they are evil. Do not allow Satan to deceive you. Evil is the reasoning and policy of Satan in his desire to become God. And just as the concept of grace represents the reasoning and policy of God, evil represents the thinking of Satan. And the influence of the souls of mankind are the objective. Evil, then, may be a simple distortion of God's Word and His directives. Evil invades all aspects of thought and life as it pertains to mankind: religion, legalism, socialism, politics, apostasy, etc.

Under the concept of religion, evil includes any system of religious function outside of the 'church,' which church has been ordained by God. This means that certain denominations, movements and organizations within religion can be evil. And one of the most harmful things that can befall any believer is to become influenced by evil -- Satan's system.

Spiritually mature believers are said to be able to differentiate between good and evil, Hebrews 5:14, which says, "But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil." And according to Romans 7:19-21, a good thing done in an evil manner is evil: "For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do -- this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me."

Philippians 3:2 warns believers to beware of evil men, "Watch out for those dogs, those men who do evil, those mutilators of the flesh." And the saints are not to keep company with evil, and influence by evil explains why prayers are not answered: Job 35:8,9, says, "He keeps company with evildoers; he associates with wicked men. For he says, 'It profits a man nothing when he tries to please God.'"

Ecclesiastes 9:3 makes the somber and astounding statements that false religious teachings are evil and can lead to insanity, "This is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all. The hearts of men, moreover, are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live, and afterward they join the dead."

Spiritually mature believers are protected from evil, according to the following verses: Psalm 21:11, Proverbs 12:12,20,21; 23:4; Genesis 50:20; 48:16; Psalm 37:16-19; 97:10; 119:101; 121:7, and Proverbs 1:33; 2:10-14; 19:23. Within the souls of believers, the question is: Is the believer influenced by God's Word and grace, or by evil? This question is clearly asked in Proverbs 15:3; 16:6; 22:3, and 24:1-4, which says, "Do not envy wicked men, do not desire their company; for their hearts plot violence, and their lips talk about making trouble. By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures." God's Word overcomes evil; Romans 12:21 says, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." And Psalm 54:5 says, "Let evil recoil on those who slander me; in your faithfulness destroy them."

Apostasy is shaped by evil, according to John 3:19, "This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil." And Psalm 36:1-4 makes it even more lucid, "An oracle is within my heart concerning the sinfulness of the wicked: There is no fear of God before his eyes. For in his own eyes he flatters himself too much to detect or hate his sin. The words of his mouth are wicked and deceitful; he has ceased to be wise and to do good. Even on his bed he plots evil; he commits himself to a sinful course and does not reject what is wrong." So here, then, we have the sins of arrogance and hatred included in evil, and helping to form apostasy in the believer's soul.

Thinking evil leads to a complete reversal of standards, Isaiah 5:20, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." And the thinkers of evil destroy themselves (God using evil to destroy evil), according to Psalm 34:21, "Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned." Evil has no loyalty to anyone or anything, Psalm 35:12, "They repay me evil for good and leave my soul forlorn." And finally, and efficiently, James 1:13 asserts that there is no evil in God, "When tempted, no one should say, 'God is tempting me.' For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone."

And God will judge evil, Isaiah 13:11, "I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless." Here we have sin and evil mentioned as two components of the same system. 'Haughty' thinking (evil) leads to 'arrogant' actions (sin). And 'ruthlessness' (hate as a system of thought or evil) leads to 'pride' (self-esteem and self-sufficiency). "In the present age, man proves his separation from his Creator by his spirit of self-sufficiency and positive rejection of God. The present issue between God and man is one of whether man will accept God's estimate of him, abandon his hopeless self-struggle, and cast himself only on the grace of God which alone is sufficient to accomplish his needed transformation." Paul's aim, then, is to influence Philemon with God's way, grace, rather than Satan's way, evil and coercion.

Correcting Sin According To The Bible

If someone is caught in a sin, restore that person gently. This is
hard to do especially when the Bible says to be indignant about
sin. The key is the tone should be gentle at all times.

Galatians 6
1 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
2 Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
3 If any of you think you are something when you are nothing, you deceive yourselves.
4 Each of you should test your own actions. Then you can take pride in yourself, without comparing yourself to somebody else,
5 for each of you should carry your own load.
6 Nevertheless, those who receive instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.

Baptism, Twice? What Does The Bible Say About This?

Baptizing a Disciple of Christ again, why?

After a Disciple of Christ (Baptized with the Holy Spirit) leaves the church, where is it in the Bible where they have to be baptized again to be a part of the church?

Ephesians 4 (KJV)
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

ONE BAPTISM....ONCE YOU ARE BAPTIZED (Paul is speaking to adults and you are held accountable for your sins as an adult) YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN FOR LIFE....(Unless you sell your soul) ~ Karmen

Galatians 6 (KJV)
1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness (gentleness); considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. 4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For every man shall bear his own burden.

Hebrews 6 (KJV)
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Humbling....Thank You God for your continued grace, mercy and compassion ~ Karmen

10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

The scriptures say when you baptize a Disciple of Christ again, you are crucifyig Jesus again.  Sin is sin, so why do we measure each others sin? God doesn't.  ~ Karmen

Revelation 22 (KJV)
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Be careful not to add to or take away from the Bible. It is forbidden and this is why we have denominations in the Christian faith. ~ Karmen

Ecclesiastes 12 (KJV)
11 The words of the wise are as goads (a spiked stick used for driving cattle.), and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished (warn or reprimand someone firmly.): of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

James 5 (KJV)
19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Just exposing how churches are denominated without even knowing it.  It's not biblical, in fact Paul talks about how re-baptizing is like crucifying Jesus all over again.

Why do we not challenge or questions those in authority?  ~ Karmen

Is This Godly?

Loving God the best way we can and still being rebuked...

Can honestly say for myself and for so many others, that we took our relationship with God seriously and we wanted to be the best that we coud in his eyes and strived for it without hesitation. Even in us doing that we were rebuked and our love for God was always challenged and/or questioned. Just will not go to a church that demeans it's congregation and that asks us to bring in more people so they can get the same abuse.

Romans 4

7 "Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
8 Blessed are those whose sin the Lord will never count against them."
9 Is this blessedness only for the circumcised, or also for the uncircumcised? We have been saying that Abraham's faith was credited to him as righteousness.
10 Under what circumstances was it credited? Was it after he was circumcised, or before? It was not after, but before!
11 And he received circumcision as a sign, a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. So then, he is the father of all who believe but have not been circumcised, in order that righteousness might be credited to them.
12 And he is then also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised. 13 It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.
14 For if those who depend on the law are heirs, faith means nothing and the promise is worthless,
15 because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.

The treatment for all who were baptized into The Holy Spirit

Dead to sin , Alive in Christ and Slave to Righteousness

Righteousness - It is an attribute that implies that a person's actions are justified, and can have the connotation that the person has been "judged" or "reckoned" as leading a life that is pleasing to God. Righteousness is also used as an attribute for God. No one is without sin

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

With that said Disciples of Christ are righteous before God's eyes. Yes, we will sin, but in our hearts and minds with the Holy Spirit we pursue Godliness. Have heard some say "that's my shortcoming, my downfall" and do nothing to change it. A woman and man of God, will do it's best (no try) to get right with God. We want to goto Heaven!!! We are trying to live a life that is pleasing to God. If we demean and put down those who are trying to be righteous we are not in God's favor.

For Psalm 2 speaks of one being shielded by God and receiving favor because of righteousness. Free from guilt or sin, when we are practicing righteousness. Again not saying that we do not sin, but we have God's grace and with that we can repent.

Romans 6
3 Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Stop treating Disciples of Christ like we were before baptism, but instead treat us the way you should with righteousness for we are baptized with the Holy Spirit.

6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, [a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin—
7 because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.
8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.
9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.
10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.
14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. Slaves to Righteousness
15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! 16 Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance.
18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
19 I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness.
20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness.
21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death!
22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in [b] Christ Jesus our Lord.

Let us treat one another with Righteousness and obey from our heart's with Righteousness. Remember don't be quick to judge, all that have been baptized into the Holy Spirit are still your sisters and brothers in Christ even if they do not attend your church.

Disciple of Christ, Conduct Yourself In A Godly Manner

Being a Christian is more than just going to church, praying, repenting, baptizing, preaching, ministering, testifying, quoting scriptures, discipline....Is that all you thought it was to be a Christian?

It is not all about self help or helping others to become Christians.

Sustain...Growth...Off the milk and onto the meat...Christians were persecuted and massacred.

God is depending on his sons and daughters to deliver his people out of Satan's hands.

Many of us walk around as slaves to the world and not to Christ. Zombies!

Read Revelations...it is not a hard book to read...don't let Satan or others try to sway you from reading it...how will you be prepared when this time comes read chapter 13...the chips are already in a lot of dogs and it will be coming to you soon...do not take it, if you do you are damned...

DO YOU REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT'S GOING ON?

What are some of the things we need to do as Christians?

Matthew 28 (KJV)
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

A disciple of Christ, practices discipline daily. Not just be "good" on Sundays. We are not promised tomorrow

James 4 (KJV)
13 Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money."
14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
15 Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that."
16 As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil.
17 So then, if you know the good you ought to do and don't do it, you sin.

No one is promised tomorrow.  No one is promised the next breath.  ~ Karmen

James 5 (KJV)
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual (successful) fervent (having or displaying a passionate intensity.)prayer of a righteous man availeth (helps) much.

2 Timothy 4 (KJV)

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove (correct), rebuke (scold, reprimand),
exhort (encourage) with all long suffering (great patience) and doctrine (belief and teachings in the
Holy Bible).

3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

1 Peter 3  (KJV)
15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.
17 It is better, if it is God's will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

Please be careful with this one. We can get very defensive when people ask us why we believe in God..Why we are Christians? this and that. Remember to respond with gentleness and respect. ~ Karmen

Signs O Times

Apocalypse Revelation - Reveal

Apocalyptic thinking is about how there is an universal invisible network led by an arch criminal mastermind. Apocalypse (Greek: Ἀποκάλυψις -translit. apoca'lipsis, literally: the lifting of the veil), is a term applied to the disclosure to certain privileged persons of something hidden from the majority of humankind.

Luke 12 (KJV)
4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. 23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment (clothes).

29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell that ye have, and give alms (charity); provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. 34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

ICOC

It amazes me about ICOC members who are turned off by the so called "conspiracy theories".

The bible is for teaching, preaching, learning, discipling and rebuking. It is also to prepare us for Satan''s wrath.

There are no regrets on joining the church from 1997-2001 and no regrets on leaving. Had I stayed, I know for sure I woud be doing all the above, except preparing myself for the last days on earth.

It is not for us to wait until the last minute to be prepared. Faith without deeds is dead (James 2:20)

Sharing your faith, having bible studies, and baptizing is not the end. Has this really been understood.

Read the letter that Henry Kriete wrote years ago and I have sat down physically with a memberor two of ICOC recently (last year to be exact) and I still see Pharisees before me. Even on here. As if I am invading them. They quote scriptures and leave it at that.

Those members talk about Revelations like it is far off from now, just to be preached at the wicked and/or those who do not attend ICOC or fell-away.

After reading this note, some may feel defensive or sorry for me. Am not looking for sympathy or empathy. This letter is to get your attention some how. To affect you to move, shout do something to let our brothers and sisters in Christ to wake up.
