The Wicked

Proverbs 11 (KJV)
18 The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.

Proverbs 13 (KJV)
2 A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors (sinners, wicked) shall eat violence.

Psalm 109 (KJV)
5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
12 Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:
13 But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.

Psalm 52 (KJV)
3 Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.

Jeremiah 9 (KJV)
3 And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant (very brave) for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the Lord.

4 Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant (replace), and every neighbour will walk with slanders.

5 And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity (wickedness).

6 Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the Lord.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?

8 Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait.
9 Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the Lord: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

Isaiah 59 (KJV)
7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.
8 The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.

Seeking peace?  Remove yourself from crookedness. ~ Karmen

Titus 1 (KJV)
15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable (cursed), and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate (an unprincipled person (often used humorously or affectionately).

Psalm 35 (KJV)
19 Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
20 For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
21 Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.
22 This thou hast seen, O Lord: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
23 Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
24 Judge me, O Lord my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.

25 Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
26 Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.
27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
28 And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

Psalm 37 (KJV)
12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

2 Peter 2 (KJV)
10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous (overconfident) are they, selfwilled (unmoved), they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities (the state or quality of being worthy of honor or respect.).

John 3 (KJV)
19 And this is the condemnation (the expression of very strong disapproval; censure.), that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Ephesians 6 (KJV)
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles (lure, entice) of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Proverbs 16 (KJV)
27 An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.

29 The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

Proverbs 18 (KJV)
5 It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.

Proverbs 17 (KJV)
4 A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.

11 An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.

13 Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.

15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination (curse) to the Lord.

23 A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment.

Proverbs 25 (KJV)
26 A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.

Proverbs 13 (KJV)
13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.

21 Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.

Psalm 51 (KJV)
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
13  Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

Proverbs 6 (KJV)
14 Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.
15 Therefore shall his calamity (misfortune) come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.

Ephesians 6 (KJV)
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt (encircled) about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod (cover) with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Proverbs 6 (KJV)
16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination (curse) unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

12 When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.

Those who do right don't mind showing their joy, Those who do wrong, hide ~ Karmen

28 When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.
